The foundation of this institution was laid on June 27, 2006, when there was a great need and strong public demand for such a higher education institute in the region. In the initial phase this college was run temporarily in a small campus at Ani. In 2012, the college was shifted to a grand new building located in Haripur. Since then the college has created its own unique identity, and has provided a multi-facility-rich campus to the students.

Our college offers graduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science, all taught by highly educated professors. With approximately 1000 students, the college offers a variety of facilities for student development, including interactive classrooms, a multipurpose auditorium, a library, an e-library along with e-resource centre, reading rooms, a language lab, music rooms, a table tennis room, a first aid room, a girls’ common room, a canteen, a gymnasium, and a playground. The college also provides a variety of opportunities for student development, including the National Service Scheme, National Cadet Corps, Rovers and Rangers, Youth Red Cross, Red Ribbon Club, Road Safety Club, English Literary Society, Sahitya Parishad, Electoral Literacy Club, and various subject organizations. Students prepare for the next stage of their lives through the curriculum, as well as co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
